To realise the expected results, TUNAJALI II builds capacity for Local Government Authorities (LGAs) and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) for quality HIV services delivery. We also work towards revenues and resources mobilization for integrated HIV and AIDS care. Currently the Program supports provision of Anti-Retroviral Treatment (ART) services at 174 CTC outlets in our five regions of operations. A total of 71,619 patients; 24,906 being males and 46,713 females are on ART.
This lead implementing partner has over seven years of active participation in the National HIV Care and Treatment Planning.
In TUNAJALI II, Deloitte provides overall program management, strategic leadership and oversight. Deloitte also provides technical leadership in grants and finance management, monitoring and evaluation, institutional capacity building and systems strengthening for local councils, the regional secretariats and CSOs.
In TUNAJALI II, CSSC provides technical leadership in the provision of HIV clinical and home based care services through mentoring, coaching, and training identified district mentors, and in limited cases training facility and community based health care workers in all districts in the five regions.
